Moonlit Pine with Friends

Night Fishing

This is one of my newest paintings. It was done with Chinese watercolor chip colors and ink on double xuan paper. I love old trees and as I painted this one, the concept grew. I wasn’t sure what would be next so I added the moon then the fisherman on the tree root and boats for a pleasing gentle painting.
